An invitation, not an account

Create a private room and invite someone you know. No email address, phone number, or account registration is needed to start a conversation.

A conversation for two

Rooms admit exactly two participants. There are no public rooms, stranger matching, or social discovery feeds.

End-to-end encrypted content

Messages and shared content are encrypted on participant devices. Compare the conversation safety fingerprint through a trusted channel to verify the connection.

More than text

Share photos, MP4 videos, and PDFs with recipient consent. Replies, emoji, and inline attachments keep the conversation easy to follow.

Voice notes with a twist

Preview a locally pitch-transformed voice note before sending it. Voice disguise changes how a recording sounds; it does not guarantee anonymity.

Built to be temporary

End the room when the conversation is finished. Message selection and deletion provide additional control over content within the conversation.

Tap Folk is intended for adults 18+. Ending a conversation clears the content managed by the service and connected clients; it cannot erase copies saved outside the app. Read the product privacy details for storage, reporting, and deletion limits.
